Supreme Court Judge rejected registrar's office objection on the constitutional petition for the solution of the basic problems of Tharparkar.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan rejected the objections of the registrar's office on the constitutional petition filed for the solution of the basic problems of Tharparkar and ordered it to be set for hearing in the open court.
The Chief Justice of the Supreme
Court, Justice Gulzar Ahmad, heard in his chamber the appeal against the
objections of the Registrar's office on the constitutional petition , during
which the President of Thar District Bar and the petitioner Vasand Theri
appeared.
The registrar's office objected
that the governor has been made a party to the petition, which is in conflict
with the constitution.
The registrar's office further said in the objections that the application can be filed in the subordinate courts including the High Court, but why has the application been filed directly in the Supreme Court?
Rejecting the objections of the Registrar's Office, the Chief Justice ordered the application to be fixed for hearing in the open court.
